ACCREDITED FELLOW (FSIAD)
This is the senior level of accreditation and is reserved for highly accomplished practitioners. You must have been an Accredited Master (MSIAD) for at least five years or, if you do not have existing accreditation by SIAD, you must be able to demonstrate at least ten years of practice.
Application to become an Accredited Fellow (FSIAD) is by submission of an Application Form, a portfolio (sent as digital files) of 20 examples of your current work (these must be different works to any previously submitted for your MSIAD application), a copy of your CV, and a Written Statement (of around 1000 words) describing your professional practice and aspirations for continued professional development. Details of how to send your FSIAD electronic portfolio, CV and Written Statement are provided on the application form. Your digital portfolio files will be used to showcase your work on the SIAD website and social media streams.
Application for Accredited Fellow costs £50 (€50 / US$50). When your accreditation is confirmed, you will be sent your Accreditation Certificate. You will then be entitled to use the letters FSIAD after your name with immediate effect and continue to do so while holding such accreditation. Thereafter, the annual subscription fee to maintain your accreditation is £90 (€90 / US$90) invoiced in April each year.
Fellowship of SIAD will help to demonstrate to employers or clients that you are a highly accomplished practitioner in your field of illustration, art or design.
