Membership of SIAD is open to all practitioners in all creative disciplines, anywhere in the world. The three levels of Qualified Membership - Licentiate (LSIAD), Associate (ASIAD) and Fellowship of the Society (FSIAD) - provide a 'professional pathway' each stage of which will be recognised worldwide as one of the most prestigious distinctions in the international creative sector.
Application for membership of SIAD is a very simple process, requiring a completed Application Form and a selection of examples of your work, sent electronically. A small application fee is charged to cover the essential administration of the application process. Once elected to membership, an annual membership fee (currently £40 / €40 / US$50) is due on 1 January following the date of election (except for student members who do not pay any annual fee). All applications for membership are peer-assessed by a panel of practising and respected professionals, all of whom are Fellows of SIAD.
