Welcome to SIAD

Founded in 1983 and incorporated as the Society of Illustrators, Artists and Designers (SIAD) twenty years later, SIAD is a not-for-profit international professional organisation that exists to:

promote excellence in the art and technique of all visual media,

act as a leading force in the advancement of professional media studies,

to encourage continual professional development (CPD) through a programme of educational courses in all visual media.

Membership of the Society is open to all practising illustrators, artists and designers involved in any visual media. Membership requirements and an application form are available from our membership page.
